2024 Additions and Promotions
At Marquis Latimer + Halback, Inc., we are looking back with gratitude on an exciting, creative, and productive 2024. A big part of this energy was generated by new additions to our team as well as a key promotion.
Carolina Schultz
Carolina Schultz earned a promotion to Senior Associate in April. This mid-year promotion reflected her growing skills in client interaction and teaching associates. She continues to develop her own abilities while being a go-to resource for newer team members in our studio. Happily, she has taken to the role with the same care that she arrived at ML+H with, and we look forward to her growth in 2025!
Robert Shugart
Robert Shugart joined our team in May to expand our program management capabilities. As a Project Administration Coordinator, Robert is involved on keeping client and internal projects and systems moving smoothly, ranging from AutoCAD, project coordination, and construction observation support. Robert brings steadiness and warmth in these roles, which creates value for our team and our clients alike.
Priscilla Sun
Priscilla Sun also joined ML+H in May as an Intern Associate. A design student at the University of Florida, Priscilla has proven herself to be hard-working and creative. During her initial summer internship, she has helped with a range of office and core design tasks from business development to rendering, drafting, and preparing for client presentations. We are pleased that she has continued to be a part of our team through the ensuing months.
Isabelle Hoppes
Isabelle Hoppes is our newest Associate, joining our firm this past June. At the top of her graduating class at the University of Florida with her Bachelor’s of Landscape Architecture, she has been a great addition to our design team. Isabelle collaborates well and has strong instincts about design and how to communicate concepts with our clients. We’re excited to see her continued growth!
Caeli Tolar
Caeli Tolar (re)joined our team as a Project Manager in September. Over a decade ago, Caeli interned with ML+H, and we are all too happy to welcome her back to our firm! Caeli has always been diligent, detail-oriented, and interested in historic preservation. Now she returns to us with more than a decade of work in Gainesville and surrounding areas. With experience with universities, residential projects, master planning, healthcare, and park design, her quiet confidence is well-earned, and she is increasing the diversity of experience on our design leadership team.
