Jen Marvin

Associate

Jen Marvin has a passion for historic landscapes and the stories behind them. Her ability to blend historic accuracy with the needs of today’s users helps to ensure landscapes continue to be enjoyed for generations. Jen is currently pursuing a PhD in Ethnobotany to further refine her leading expertise. 

Jen also has extensive experience with Florida friendly and native landscapes, including five years with the flagship Florida Friendly Landscaping program at the University of Florida. As an active member of her community, Jen translates her interests in childhood development, natural play, and locally sourced food into participating in a series of community groups and initiatives.

Flagler College Master Plan

Marquis Latimer + Halback, Inc. has been developing and updating the master plan for historic Flagler College in the heart of downtown St. Augustine since 2003. Through site analysis and planning, the master plan updates have assisted the College in identifying the best and most appropriate methods of fulfilling the campus goals set forth in the Strategic Plan.

Designed to be harmonious with the site’s natural beauty, this body of work provided the opportunity to demonstrate the importance of knitting together neo-traditional guidelines while promoting the individuality of each family.
