Active Living with a Focus on Landscape

Baptist Health, in partnership with the YMCA, is developing a new property in the master planned community of Nocatee. The design guidelines for the community require a high level of landscaping with an emphasis on outdoor living. ML+H worked with the developer and Baptist Health to create a landscape that was aesthetically pleasing and matched the “healthy living” focus of the site.

Our Solution

ML+H designed a site plan that incorporates vehicular traffic, healthcare, outdoor play, and multi-modal (bike, pedestrian, and golf cart) traffic. A covered outdoor gymnasium and activity lawn serve as the waterfront focal points of the new property.
